The CTHS National is exploring the possibility of holding an online CTHS Canada Wide Mixed Sale in mid to late January 2021. They are surveying consignors across Canada to find out if there is any interest in this initiative. The following letter has further details regarding the Mixed Sale which would be hosted by the CTHS, but conducted by Wanamakers’s Online Auction Company.

The deadline to express interest including the number of entries you might consign is Tuesday, December 15th.

Contact the CTHS (British Columbia) office at (604) 534-0145 or [email protected] if you require further information or to respond as a possible consignor.

ATTENTION CTHS SALES CONSIGNORS:

RE: CTHS ONLINE THOROUGHBRED MIXED SALE

The CTHS is exploring the possibility of an online CTHS Thoroughbred Mixed Sale which would be held in mid to late January 2021. The sale would involve Thoroughbred consignors from across Canada and would provide an opportunity for consignors who may not have taken part in the regular CTHS Sales, those who had RNA’s on recent sales entries or anyone else who wishes to move some of their stock as we go into the new year.

The CTHS. has been in discussions with the Wanamaker’s Sales Company who have quoted an entry fee of $300.00 CDN, no commission on an RNA, a flat commission of $50 (hammer up to $2,000) and a 3% commission on all sold over $2,000. If you are not familiar with the Wanamaker’s, their website can be found at: https://wanamakers.com. We are exploring this as an option and need to know what level of interest there is amongst our consignors.

If you are interested in consigning in an online CTHS Thoroughbred Mixed Sale, contact the CTHS (BC Division) office at (604) 534-0145 or [email protected] with the information regarding the Thoroughbreds you would be entering into the sale no later than Tuesday, December 15th. Also, please feel free to contact the CTHS (BC Division) office for further information or questions regarding this initiative.

Sincerely,

CANADIAN THOROUGHBRED HORSE SOCIETY
(BC DVISION)
