The Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB) is pleased to announce that horse racing licence and registration applications are now online. Applications and payment can now be completed from a computer or mobile device without having to come to the track. This change will streamline the process and make it quicker and more accessible for applicants.

Applications and payment can now be completed through our website at https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/sports-culture/gambling-fundraising/horse-racing/registration-licensing.

GPEB will continue accepting applications and payment by mail or in-person until October 31, 2022.

To assist applicants through this transition, a step-by-step Online Application Guide and list of Frequently Asked Questions are available on our website under Application Resources.

If you have questions about how to complete your horse racing licence and registration online, please contact GPEB via email: [email protected], by telephone: 604-398-5762, or visit the GPEB Office located in the Race Office building in the backstretch at Fraser Downs or Hastings Racecourse during posted business hours.
