Due to the winter weather conditions on the west coast, the spring training at Hastings was affected for the past four weeks. The 2019 Hastings Live Calendar, therefore, has been revised. The 51-day-season will now open on Saturday, May 4th (Kentucky Derby Day) instead of Sunday, April 21st and will close on Sunday, October 27th. In addition, the 2019 Hastings Stakes Schedule was revised due to the move of opening day.

COUNTERFORCE who stood in 2024 at Stride Away Thoroughbreds (Steen and Cathy Reggelsen) in Armstrong, BC will be relocating to Empire Equestrian in Ardrossan, AB.
