In the 2nd race at Hastings Racecourse on Sunday, June 10, a 6 1/2 furlong test for three-year-old Allowance fillies which are non-winners of two, Under Par ran away from her competition winning by 5 lengths, while being kept on the lead the entire trip by jockey Aaron Gryder. The stakes placed BC-bred filly is owned by Canmor Farms and Maureen Goss, and trained by Mark Cloutier. Under Par, sired by Stephanotis out of the German bred mare, Big Bertha, was bred in BC by Glen Todd. This is the 3rd winner from 3 starters for Big Bertha and Under Par is one fast filly which could have a very bright future.
